What is the mission of BPRT?

BPRT’s overall mission is to empower, educate, and provide for children without the limitations of borders. To learn more about BPRT or our mission, vision, or work, please visit the “About” page.

How can I sponsor a child?

BPRT does not offer a specific child sponsorship program. However, BPRT does provide merit-based, financial need scholarships. These scholarships cover one full year of tuition, exam fees, boarding, food, uniform, shoes, textbooks, and other school essentials.

An entire school year scholarship is approximately `10000. The selection process includes an application, evaluation of the students prior academic achievements, making certain they are eager to learn, and we ensure the family is financially challenged. If you do decide to help a child with a scholarship, we can give you a brief background on the student that is selected and we will help facilitate a letter exchange if you wish.

Can BPRT offer me or my organization financial assistance or grants?

BPRT is not a funding agency and therefore we do not provide financial assistance directly to individuals or organizations. Instead, we establish partnerships in the communities we work in to develop lasting solutions to global poverty.

How can I be removed from the mailing list and/or e-mail list?

If you want to stop or limit mailings to your home address, please submit your request by emailing us directly to: info.bprtrust@gmail.com with the subject field "Unsubscribe." If you would like to be removed from our email list, please call us at +91-7777-007-823.

Does BPRT accept project proposals?

Unfortunately at this time BPRT is not accepting project proposals by outside organizations or individuals.

How can I donate?

We accept donations online, by mail, or by phone. There is the option to make a one-time donation or to set up a recurring monthly donation. We also accept non-monetary contribution and gifts of stock or mutual funds. To learn more about ways to give, please visit our “Donate” page.

Is my gift tax-deductible?

All gifts to BPRT are tax deductible, as applicable by law. BPRT is classified by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Will I receive a receipt for my contribution that I can use when filing my income taxes?

Yes. You will receive a receipt by mail for every contribution you make to BPRT. If you make a donation online and do not provide a mailing address, you will receive a "thank you" email. Please use that email as your receipt.

You can use your receipt/letter as proof of your donation when filing your income taxes. Please consult your tax-adviser for more information about filing taxes.

Can I have my company make matching contributions?

BPRT enthusiastically accepts corporate donations. Talk to your company about matching donations, and let us know how we can support completing the process with you. Email us at info.bprtrust@gmail.com or call us at +91-7777-00-823/826 we can help in any way.

Does BPRT have a planned giving program?

If I am an international donor, can I still make a donation to BPRT?

No matter where you live in the world, you can help support BPRT. Please visit our “Donate” page to learn more.

I didn't get a tax receipt for my donation. How can I obtain one?

Please contact BPRT online or call us at +91-7777-00-823/826 and we will be sure to get you a duplicate receipt as soon as possible. Please keep in mind that if you made a recent contribution, it can sometimes take up to 2 weeks to receive a receipt in the mail.

Can I travel abroad for BPRT? How can I volunteer in Africa?

Unfortunately at this time BPRT does not facilitate traveling abroad on behalf of the organization. If you would like to stay connected with the work BPRT is doing.

How can I volunteer?

BPRT is a 100% volunteer based organization and we encourage everyone who can spare a little time to help out with the numerous tasks we need to accomplish.

We have many volunteer opportunities for you to enhance your skills, network with others and directly impact the lives of countless children around the world. Please fill out our volunteer form on our “Join Our Team” page. There you can also find a detailed list of all available internship positions.

How can I update my contact information?

Even if you are unable to donate money, you can help out in many other ways.
